A mountain of sweets

A boy was caught trying to shoplift in Eislingen an der Fils (Göppingen district) and then bit a customer's finger and arm.
The nine-year-old took several sweets from the store on Saturday and tried to take them with him without paying, according to the police in Baden-Württemberg.
A store detective noticed the child and arrested him.
When a customer wanted to help tame the boy, he hit out and bit the woman's finger and arm.
Paramedics tended to the woman's wounds.
A police spokesman could not say whether the woman had to be treated in the hospital.
The police took the boy to his father after the incident.
