A hunting session as if we were there.
In anticipation of their usual Sunday hunting session, Philippe and Régis came to train this Wednesday afternoon at CynéTIR.
The Riffaut Armory, in Orbec, Normandy, acquired a shooting simulator a few years ago for big game hunting.
"This technology, originating in Germany, allows hunters to come and take control of their weapon and improve their shooting by becoming aware of the safety rules and the danger", assures Laurent Riffaut, manager of the Riffaut Armory and CynéTIR.
“We can analyze our shots”
Wild boar, roe deer, deer suddenly appear in very realistic forest settings on a giant screen located 25 m from the shooting range.
Régis grabbed his rifle and fired… Live ammunition.
“Not only do I shoot live ammunition, but the rifle is the one I use when I go hunting.
The advantage of CynéTIR is also to be able to analyze where the bullets go, why we missed the animal, etc.…”.
"It's very realistic, we just have less stress here", says Philippe, hunter since 1975. The CynéTIR is open to hunters and non-hunters, by reservation.
Rental price: 120 euros per hour in the presence of a shooting instructor.
