Credem launches the new "WePlas" platform

This is what the Reggio Emilia bank reiterated – about 600 branches throughout Italy for 6,000 employees – when presenting the latest novelty.

For the bank, the acronym (Wealth Planning Advisory System) represents "an evolutionary path of the concept of financial well-being, with the advisor at the center of the relationship with the customer, supported by a fully integrated platform from the information to the dispositional part and which will be implemented and constantly updated".

For Moris Franzoni, commercial director of the Financial Wellbanker Credem network, it goes even further: "It is a new dimension of the personal well-being of our customers. It may seem like a high-sounding statement, but it is the real goal of the project.

The Credem Group in June 2022 (latest data available) declared 1.3 million customers for a customer assets of 84 billion euro.

This is why, according to the credit institution, continuous improvement of consultancy models is necessary: ​​"WePlas has specific strong points – continues Franzoni -. For example, a dashboard system with tools for an accurate diagnosis of customer needs, in able to plan a customizable financial path over time for the customer; portfolio analysis based on advanced algorithms that evaluate the quality of their investments every day; specialized consultancy based on customer needs and segments, extended to total assets, and more savings and investments".

The new system, explains Credem, is aimed at all the Group's networks.

Since last November it has already been implemented in branches, as well as being adopted by financial advisors.

While from the first quarter of 2023 it will also be adopted by private banking.

"WePlas fits perfectly into the concept of Wellbanking, a consultancy model that goes beyond the client's asset and financial care - concludes Franzoni - The ultimate goal is to generate wealth and have a positive impact on the clients' future life plans.
