(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JAN 30 - Farewell to Lisa Loring, Wednesday in the original series The Addams Family (1964-1966).
She was 64 years old and her death was caused by a stroke caused by high blood pressure according to what the American media write, quoting her agent.
Born Lisa Ann DeCinces, Loring was just six years old when she played the character of the sadistic little daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams.
Her role gives her international fame.
Despite this she retires from the scene to return in the late 70s.
In 1977 she reprized the role of Wednesday Addams in the television movie 'Halloween With the New Addams Family'.
She later starred in the soap opera As the World Turns from 1981 to 1983 where she played the character of Cricket Montgomery.
