The RTL jungle camp achieved the best ratings of this season for the finale.

4.49 million (market share: 26.3 percent) switched on Sunday evening from 10:15 p.m. the decision between reality star Djamila Rowe, singer Lucas Cordalis and dating show participant Gigi Birofio in the reality show “I’m a star – get me out of here! " a.

In the 14- to 49-year-old target group, which is particularly important for the advertising business, the Cologne-based private broadcaster even achieved 36.3 percent (1.58 million).

In the end, Djamila Rowe secured this year's jungle crown.

The primetime show most watched by the general public was the "Tatort" thriller from Saarbrücken.

The episode "The Cold of the Earth" with Vladimir Burlakov and Daniel Sträßer gets 7.86 million viewers (24.7 percent) from 8:15 p.m.

This time, the investigators Leo Holz and Adam Schürk had to deal with the football hooligans scene.

There was a death on the sidelines of a derby.

ZDF broadcast the drama »Spring: The girl behind the door«.

The film with Simone Thomalla and Kristo Ferkic was viewed by 5.95 million (18.7 percent).

RTL prepared its viewers for the jungle finale at prime time.

The countdown to »I'm a star – get me out of here!« attracted 2.89 million (9.4 percent) fans to the screen.

stable level

Overall, the RTL jungle camp seems to be at a stable level compared to the previous year in favor with the public.

While there was an average market share of 19.3 percent in the total audience in 2022, numerous episodes this year made it to over 20 percent - with the 26.3 percent for the final being the highlight.

In 2022, the last regular broadcast of "I'm a Star" achieved a market share of 23.2 percent.

However, the total number of viewers a year ago was 4.96 million, higher than this year (4.49 million).

One reason may be that the extended camp in 2023 ended on a Sunday evening, i.e. a weekday before, while a year ago it was a Saturday.

However, the jungle camp, which is so popular with the younger audience, is not immune to the exodus from linear television.

The show is a long way from the six million viewers before the corona kink.

However, the numbers of the so-called VOD charts of the market research company Goldmedia, which can only be used with restrictions, show that "I'm a Star" has also made it among the most popular streaming programs.

In a press release after the first week of the jungle camp, RTL spoke of more than one million views per episode about the RTL + streaming service.
