of the facts already widely reported by the media in recent times.
I will reiterate and clarify to the judicial authority what I have always maintained in every venue, including the control commission of the Municipality of Florence and the board of auditors of the Foundation, namely that these are all expenses connected and necessary to the exercise of my mandate as superintendent and artistic director of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino".
"The steering committee - reads a note from May - notes with regret the communication received from the superintendent Alexander Pereira regarding the guarantee information, relating to known facts on which the superintendent has already reported both to the steering committee and to the board of auditors , which has released a specific report.
