Suspected suicide attack during mid-day prayers: 90 injured (ANSA) The death toll from a suspected suicide attack inside a mosque in the north-western city of Peshawar, Pakistan, has risen to 17 dead, mostly police officers, and 90 injured. Eighteen injured are in serious condition, according to Lady Reading hospital spokesman, Muhammad Asim. The explosion took place inside the barriers erected by the police to protect the mosque during mid-day prayers.
