The call should be heard.
According to the Snuipp-FSU, the first primary union, 50% of primary school teachers should strike on Tuesday, on the occasion of the new day of national mobilization against the pension reform.
“There is no surprise, we knew that we would not go up to 70% as during the first mobilization.
But 50% remains a very good figure which shows that the protest movement against the pension reform is taking hold in schools, ”explained Guislaine David, secretary general of Snuipp-FSU.
Make "even stronger"
In a joint statement, the education and high school students' unions called for the January 31 movement to be "even stronger" than the January 19 movement.
“We are united and determined to have this pension reform project withdrawn,” they write.

Pensions: Philippe Martinez calls for "multiplying actions" by January 31
At the same time, high school organizations are still calling for the blocking of schools, as there had already been in January.
During the first day of mobilization, 65% of college and high school teachers were on strike and 70% on the side of primary school teachers, according to the unions.
The Ministry of Education, for its part, published much smaller figures, ensuring that only 34.66% were on strike in secondary schools and 42.35% in primary schools.
