At least two people died and another five were injured
after a brutal crash on Buenos Aires Route 11, when a car collided head-on with a long-distance bus.
It happened at the height of Pipinas, around 10 in the morning, at kilometer 155 of the route that heads towards the coast and in the middle of the tourist turnover due to the change of fortnight.
The car, a white Chevrolet that was headed towards the City of Buenos Aires, had a full impact with the Plusmar company bus that was going to the beach.
As a result of the impact, the driver of the car and his companion died instantly, while five other people who were traveling in the bus suffered injuries and were assisted by the emergency services of the route.
As reported on Twitter by the specialized Solo Tránsito account, one of the victims is under 15 years of age.
The route is completely cut off and traffic circulates assisted along the shoulder sector.
The bus driver had to be referred to a local hospital.
Due to the operation, there were long delays on the routes on the way to the different spas.
Provincial highway police, emergency medical services and local firefighters are working on the scene.
Two dead on Route 36
Two people died and another was injured this Monday morning
after crashing the car in which they were traveling against a column on provincial route 36, a section of the link between the Gutiérrez branch of the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway with highway 2.
The accident would have occurred when the car in which the three people were traveling in the direction of the City of Buenos Aires

violently hit one of the columns of a pedestrian bridge
that crosses the route in that place.
As a result of the strong impact, two people
- the man who was driving the car and the woman who was accompanying him - died instantly
and the third - a teenager who would be the couple's son - was taken by an ambulance from Autopistas Buenos Aires Sociedad Anónima (Aubasa) to the Hospital Evita Pueblo de Berazategui.
Patrolmen from the Highway Road Safety Department, the Alpargatas Road Department, and the 6th Police Station.
They arrived at the scene and quickly summoned an ambulance from the AUBASA emergency service, which confirmed the deaths of the couple.
According to the Buenos Aires Police report, the driver of the car "misled" towards the outer shoulder "for reasons to be established" and collided "with New Jersey (central wall) and the column of the pedestrian bridge."
Police personnel work in the place, where there were delays in traffic.
In addition, the decentralized UFI of Berazategui, dependent on the judicial department of Quilmes, and the Operational Technical Office of the Fifth police station, in the town of El Pato, intervened in the case.
