(ANSA) - VENICE, 30 JAN - The Venice Court of Appeal has confirmed the conviction of the former managing director of VenetoBanca, Vicenzo Consoli, in the second-level trial for the crash of the credit institution.
The judges reduced the sentence to three years' imprisonment, compared to the four imposed in the first instance, for the charge of obstructing supervision.
In the meantime, the other alleged offense of false prospectus has been time-barred.
