He almost became a millionaire… But he probably doesn't even know it.
According to BFMTV, which cites information from the FDJ, the winner of the EuroMillions draw on December 2 did not show up in time to collect his prize.
He had until Monday, 11:59 p.m., to make himself known to the Française des jeux, but did not do so.
Ticket validated in Charente
According to a notice launched by the incumbent lotto operator in France, the person sought had validated his ticket in Charente and was the winner of the EuroMillions “My Million” game, which guarantees a French millionaire per draw.

According to BFMTV, the sum which has not been recovered by its winner will return to the FDJ which will put it back into play in the form of “an exceptional kitty or a promotional offer”.
And this situation could well happen again since, on its Facebook account, the lotto operator launched a second call, this time to find the winner of the My Million on December 6.
The lucky one, who validated his ticket in Guyana, has until Friday, 11:59 p.m. to show up.
At the risk, too, of losing his gain.
