In the new docu about her, Pamela Anderson finally takes control of the narrative of her life story Israel today

In the Netflix film, who was one of the most prominent icons of the 90s talks about everything with a sober and humorous view of history • This is photographic evidence that criticism is no longer directed towards her, but towards society and the media

Pamela Anderson is a definite icon of the 90s - the decade in which she exploded and shattered.

She starred in one of the popular series of the period ("Gulf Watch"), and for a certain period of time she was the most famous person in the world.

This happened thanks to her breasts, which highlighted her work but made her an object of ridicule, belittlement and contempt, and in retrospect eliminated her chance of a career as a serious actress.

• Anti-Semitic and embarrassing: this film is simply an outrage

• The documentary on David Levy: 2023 and they still continue to perpetuate the sectarian demon

• "Babylon" is a spectacular and delightful grandiose riot

When we look at the nineties with an updated view, it's hard to believe that we behaved like this only 30 years ago.

Women like Anderson, Monica Lewinsky or Britney Spears, who were victims of personal events that made headlines and caught fire from the public.

Luckily for us, society is no longer there - the norms have changed and the balance of power has balanced out.

At the age of 55, it was Pamela Anderson's time for a fix.

Yesterday (Tuesday) the movie "Pamela: A Love Story" was released on Netflix, which tells the sad story of her life.

Want to say, again a prolonged occupation you know what ("My tits have a career, and I'm just accompanying them"), and also in the hot home tape she filmed with the father of her children, Tommy Lee.

But - and this is a big but - the attitude is different this time.

The yellow is still yellow, but the criticism is not directed towards her but towards society and the media.

There are many strong sections in the docu, which lasts about two hours and is based on an intimate interview, archives, personal diaries and a conversation with her children - but the moment when her two sons relate to the consequences of the tape, in which their parents do what they do, is a scene we've been waiting 27 years for.

This is the first time that Anderson has taken control of the narrative of her life story.

She chose to be interviewed at her home in basic lighting, wearing a nightgown and flip flops, with light makeup that she applied to herself;

Not afraid to open everything and sting the men who abused her, raped her, harmed her and took advantage of her.

And yet, she doesn't regret anything.

That's what's impressive about her.

The attitude towards her and her body could have drawn Doku to dark and unhappy places, but his heroine is not ashamed of anything, and looks at history with a sober and humorous view.

This is what makes her unique, but also what once burned her.

Throughout watching "Pamela, a love story" a feeling spreads that this docu is capable of changing the course of Anderson's life.

First time she is taken seriously, and really listened to.
