Milk will cost 57.5 cents per liter at the farm until next June in Lombardy, which alone is worth almost 50% of Italian production.
This is what the regional Coldiretti announces, which has signed an agreement with Italatte, a company of the Lactalis group, the main Italian dairy industry.
"The agreement - specifies Coldiretti Lombardia - provides for the recognition of 57.5 cents per liter for the stables for the months from February to June 2023, but with the commitment to meet in April to assess the market situation".
"A positive agreement - comments the vice president of Coldiretti Lombardia Paolo Carra - which arrives at a delicate moment for our stables and which allows us to continue to guarantee the production of milk for families and consumers".
