So how to style a black mini skirt?

The go-to would be to go for sporty casual all the way - with a white t-shirt, a relaxed black blazer and Mary Jane shoes, or rather knee boots with a low heel.

Another alternative is to take it to the college style and choose a sweatshirt or light oversized knit, combined with matching loafers (and don't give up tights or chunky socks).

Go for a thin and tight black turtleneck, or a white button-down partially tucked into a skirt, and pointed toe heels and don't hesitate to experiment with interesting fabrics or textures, i.e. a leather-like skirt or vinyl.
