2023-02-02T17:24:24.085Z

Transport, school, health, energy... Many professions are called to take to the streets by the unions, during the third day of mobilization. Le Figaro takes stock.

Third round for opponents of pension reform.

This Tuesday, February 7, the trade unions have again called for the organization of strikes and demonstrations across France to roll back the executive.

Nothing justifies such an unjust and brutal reform.

The government must hear the massive rejection of this project and withdraw it

”, denounced the unions and youth movements, in a joint press release, on January 31.

While the intersyndicale also calls for “

multiplying actions

” in the days to come, February 7 will therefore be the scene of a new stage of the showdown between the unions and the government.

Many sectors have already unveiled mobilizations planned for that day.

Le Figaro

takes stock of the anticipated actions and planned disruptions.

In the transports

At the SNCF

Among the railway workers, all the organizations - the CGT, the Unsa, Sud rail and the CFDT - called for a strike on February 7.

Nothing justifies this bad project.

Based on a strictly budgetary foundation, this reform does not consider work and its reality

, ”protested the CFDT Cheminots, in a press release, on February 1.

Beyond 7, the future of the movement remains unclear.

The CFDT also called for mobilization on Saturday February 11, joining the interprofessional call.

For their part, Sud Rail and the CGT are currently calling for a strike on February 8 as well, but not yet on the 11th. For its part, the Unsa-Ferroviaire is calling for mobilization on Saturday, but not for a strike.

A way to avoid blocking French people wishing to go on vacation or return home.

During previous strike days, the circulation of TGV, TER, Ouigo and Intercités trains was severely disrupted by the social movement.

SNCF will provide its traffic forecasts before the day of the strike.

At the RATP

At the RATP, the inter-union also calls for mobilization on February 7, as on January 19 and 31.

Rebelote a few days later, on February 11: "

We call on all company agents to continue and amplify the mobilization through strikes and demonstrations on Tuesday February 7 and then Saturday February 11 to say no to this reform

", write CGT, FO, Unsa and CFE-CGC of the RATP group, in a joint press release issued on February 1.

These mobilizations should disrupt the network of the Ile-de-France region: during previous days of action, several metro lines were completely interrupted or only opened for a few hours.

RERs were also affected, while buses and trams were relatively spared.

In planes

In addition to rail, aviation is also likely to be marked by strike movements.

The first civil aviation union, the UsacCGT (Civil Aviation Union-CGT) has thus "

decided to fully join in the unit day of mobilization

" next Tuesday.

A notice has already been filed by the union on February 1.

In Education

Schools are also likely to be affected by the mobilization.

After the second day of strikes and demonstrations, the unions, including Sud Éducation, called to join the processions on February 7 and 11.

Nobody doubts that we must strike hard and all together by renewing the strike until the withdrawal.

There is not much missing

, ”said the National Federation of Education, Culture and Vocational Training (FNEP-FO), in a press release.

At the same time, youth organizations - including Unef, Young Ecologists or Voix lycéenne - also called for "

joining the strikes and demonstrations of February 7 and 11

".

Objective: to vote "

the blocking of our places of study, high schools, universities, on February 7th

".

in the energy

Mobilized for several weeks, the energy sector will once again take to the streets on 7 February.

In any case, this is what the inter-union hopes, bringing together FO, the CFDT, the CFE-CGC and the CGT.

The organizations believe, in a press release, that “

the grandfather clause is only a decoy

”, and that the “

consequences of this reform will be dramatic

”.

The interfederal therefore calls for the social dialogue to be interrupted between Monday February 6 and Friday February 10, as well as to mobilize on February 7 and 11.

in health

Strongly mobilized for several months for their working conditions, employees in the health sector are called upon to march against the pension reform by the CGT Health on February 7 and 11, or even “

even further

”.

At the Post Office

The company, which recorded 8.79% of employees on strike on January 31 - against 14.64% on January 19 - foresees new disruptions to come: "

A new notice has also been filed by the unions for the days from February 7 and 8,

”she says on her site.

And to warn its users: “

In this context, the routing and distribution of your shipments may be impacted.

La Poste cannot then guarantee that its commitments regarding delivery times will be met

”.

In the public service

Massively mobilized on January 19 and 31, the public service should again take to the streets on February 7.

The CGT Civil Service thus called for mobilization, considering that “

the overwhelming majority of the population rejects this project of social regression

”.

Same observation for Solidaires Public Service, which wishes to see the agents “

again on strike and in demonstration

” on February 7 and 11.
