"I can't help but think of that 19-year-old girl who killed herself in the bathroom of her university, leaving written 'in life I have failed everything'. And no, at 19 you haven't failed anything. But I thought so too at 19 years": thus begins the Instagram post by
Lodo Guenzi
of "Lo Stato Sociale" who, particularly shaken, intervenes on
the suicide of the young student
who took her own life at the IULM in Milan and recounts a very intimate personal past of hers, addressing all young people going through difficult times.
In support, a photo of a sign with the inscription "I didn't even want to go to this university".

"I traveled 600 kilometers a week to go and be told I wouldn't make it, while my first girlfriend died for no reason and the second one left me for the distance. The only moment I thought about giving up everything, but even stronger than wanting to disappear. Looking at him now it was a moment, I'm almost ashamed to say it. But at that moment it seemed the only logical way out, the only road".
"Hold on", writes Guenzi again.
"I don't even know why I'm writing this, and I don't know if it's a question of excellence within the training course, as it has always been, or much more the fact that the world of work outside guarantees survival only for those who excel, sacrificing rights to production times, and transforming school no longer into a gym where you can make mistakes, but into a taste of tomorrow's frustrations. I would like to tell a girl that it's not you that I really understand that thought. But that if you hold on to that moment, it might just be a moment for you. Come on, really."
