(ANSA) - ROME, 01 FEB - Pepy-ta, the biscuit with pieces of chocolate, cocoa and pink Himalayan salt produced by Mondodi Laura, has obtained the "Top Italian Food & Wine" recognition in the 2023 Gambero Rosso Guide dedicated to Italian excellence.

"I am happy to receive this award and that our work has finally been recognized. Pepy-ta is also vegan without eggs and without milk. A truly unique proposal to find in the world of large-scale distribution", says Laura Raccah, owner of the company.

The production of the Roman company Mondo di Laura consists of eight types of biscuits including chocolate, cereals and spices, all kosher and certified without milk and traces.

The "Mondo di Laura" company was born from the work and intuition of the entrepreneur Laura Raccah who, thanks to her expertise in the confectionary world, has managed to create a concept of industrial pastry.

In fact, every cookie from Laura's World is not a simple base flavored with various flavors but is the result of a process that combines manual skills and production technologies.

She also made the decision to build the production site in an urban district of Rome, near San Lorenzo, setting up a 500 m2 space dedicated to the production of the entire range of biscuits.

A real confectionery factory in the city.

Inspired by the typical street art of San Lorenzo, the exterior of the Mondo di Laura company is characterized by a colorful and lively mural depicting the cocoa tree, bees and vanilla flowers.

Laura's Mondo biscuits are distributed in all Eatalys around the world, in many referenced supermarkets and quality shops throughout Italy.

Furthermore, biscuits are also exported abroad, precisely to Japan, Canada, Los Angeles, New York, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, France, England and Korea.

"Mine is a company - specifies Raccah - which from the very beginning spoke with large-scale retailers because I have always thought that a good biscuit should be for everyone" and so slowly, without renouncing the quality of her biscuits, Laura managed to enter the world of large-scale distribution (ANSA).
