Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Nice or Bordeaux ... around thirty processions, led by the national union of early childhood professionals (SNPPE), will set off this Thursday throughout France.
The main trade union in the sector, which is against the pension reform proposed by the government, is also demanding an increase in wages.

While the salaries of the sector are lower than the salaries in France, the government has done nothing concrete to enhance the salaries of early childhood
”, underlines the organization in a press release.
The SNPPE also calls for a significant improvement in working conditions to mitigate "
known risks
".

On its site, the union points out that professionals generally welcome children from 0 to 3 years old, “
weighing on average 11 kg at 18 months
” and who “
are carried on average six times a day
”.

", warns the organization.

the repeal of the reform of the early childhood sector
".
In Paris, speaking engagements will begin at 11 a.m. at the Arts et Métiers metro station in the 3rd arrondissement.
The demonstration will then advance at 2 p.m. to the Hotel Matignon in the 7th arrondissement of the capital.
