(ANSA) - TOKYO, FEBRUARY 02 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the session higher, in the wake of the consolidation of the US stock market, following indications by Federal Reserve chairman, Jerome Powell, on the slowdown in inflation in the United States.
The Nikkei scores a 0.31% increase to 27,430.64, adding 83 points.
On the currency front, the yen strengthened against the dollar, at 128.10, while it was stable against the euro at 141.20.
