The plaintiff, Julia Miceli (formerly Julia Holcomb), now 65 years old, is suing Tyler in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The singer is accused of sexual assault, forced abortion and defamation.
The plaintiff claims that Tyler, who was 25 years old at the time, used his position to "groom, manipulate, exploit and sexually assault her" for three years while she was only 16 years old.
According to the complaint, Miceli met Tyler in 1973 after an Aerosmith concert in Oregon.
She was invited backstage and later also to the hotel room where Tyler was staying.
According to her, that evening the star sexually abused her in the same hotel room.

According to the plaintiff, the singer took advantage of her complicated family situation, when about a year after their first meeting, Tyler met with Misli's mother and "convinced her to sign a guardianship over her daughter" and promised her that he would take care of her well-being, according to the complaint.
Miceli accompanied Tyler during the band's tour, during which time Tyler drugged her, doused her with alcohol, and continued to assault and sexually abuse her.
When she became pregnant, the singer forced him to have an abortion.
In 2004, the singer published a memoir in which he confessed about a relationship he had with a minor.
Misli claims that in the book the singer presented the abuse as a "romantic relationship of a couple of lovers", which was apparently far from reality.
