In this context, personnel from the Institutional Security Guard (GSI) and from the Food Safety area of the Municipality of Santa Fe, in collaboration with the Provincial Police, intervened on Tuesday afternoon when they unloaded
16,340 kilos of offal,
without respecting the corresponding protocols.

Two men in Berazategui died after consuming meat in poor condition: Shigella and salmonella were detected.
Due to these cases of contaminated meat, the municipal authorities closed the butcher shop that sold the offal.
According to the report provided by police sources, the victims were 36 and 48 years old.
