Sunny weather almost everywhere over the Candlemas weekend but winter will return next week.
A cold front is arriving from Russia which in Italy will bring an important thermal collapse and snow on the plains also in the Center-South.
According to Andrea Garbinato, editorial manager of the website www.iLMeteo.it, in fact, 4 days of good weather await us with prevailing sunshine but from Monday the weather will worsen and snow and frost will return.
In detail, the expansion of the Azores anticyclone throughout Italy will bring prevailing sunshine and a gradual increase in maximum temperatures.
Local sea clouds are expected on the Tyrrhenian coasts and a little wind in the Alps, while abundant snowfalls will arrive across the Alps, especially in Austria.
Locally these snowfalls will also affect our border Alps.
In general, however, the weather will be good until Sunday.
The trend for next week, on the other hand, points towards a drastic drop in temperatures, with snow not excluded up to the plains even in the Center-South.
