When almost a dozen celebs gather in a room, not laughing for six hours and teetering on the brink of insanity, it can only be "LOL: Last One Laughing".
The Amazon Prime show with TV star Michael "Bully" Herbig has taken the hearts of German TV viewers by storm.
The first LOL season not only won the German Comedy Award in the “Best Comedy Show” category, the premiere also set a new record with the most streaming hits on Amazon Prime Video.
The LOL seasons 2 and 3 also ensured strong streaming rates.
So it was no wonder that LOL will start its fourth season in 2023.

What is Last One Laughing about?
Ten celebrities face what is probably their greatest challenge at LOL: not laughing for six hours, not even smiling!
With this number of German comedy stars, it almost borders on torture.
The participants are monitored around the clock by numerous cameras.
Michael "Bully" Herbig is again in the control room and monitors the stars on his monitors.
Nothing escapes the TV star.
Every celebrity has two lives.
If you let yourself be carried away by a laugh or a grin, you lose a life.
If both are used up, LOL is over for the or those.
And the stars come up with some ideas to make the other participants laugh.
Dirty jokes, fart imitations or parodies - there are no limits with LOL.
And so the viewers on Prime Video can enjoy watching how the stars tease each other in order to be able to receive the winner's trophy after six hours at the latest.
But it's a long and rocky road to get there...
