Students still in faculty. Assembly in the afternoon in Lettere (ANSA)

Quiet night at the Sapienza University of Rome.

The occupation by the students of the Faculty of Arts in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito against the 41bis, decided by yesterday's assembly, is still ongoing.

A public meeting is scheduled for the morning.

"The time for testimonies and words is over

. We think it's time to get involved, each with their own possibilities, in a heterogeneous movement but with a clear message. For this reason, we invite students and teachers to participate in a moment of collective discussion , at 16 in Letters to imagine the next steps of the mobilization together".

This was stated by a delegation from the

Cambiare Rotta movement, under occupation at the Sapienza University of Rome in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito and against the 41 bis,

speaking with reporters in front of the Faculty of Letters.

The students at this afternoon's meeting would then have to decide whether to stay in occupation until tomorrow.

"Today the political spaces in which we have built solidarity with Alfredo are constantly threatened by a climate of terror and fear that has spread in recent weeks; for this reason we have decided to take back the Faculty of Arts, aware that our training places are the spaces to which to start to build a debate together that is able to speak and take sides against 41 bis, impediment and life imprisonment", explain the students, reiterating that the occupation represents "a clear message also to the Sapienza management, so far deaf to the repeated requests for stance".
