Director Panahi, who has been in prison in Iran for 7 months, has been released

(ANSA) - ROME, 03 FEB - Iranian director Jafar Panahi, imprisoned for about seven months in Iran, was released today on bail: this is what the New York-based NGO CHRI announced.

   Panahi was released "two days after going on hunger strike," claims the CHRI, while the Iranian newspaper Sargh published a photo of Panahi leaving Tehran's Evin prison.
