EU-19: industrial production prices in December +1.1%

In December 2022, industrial producer prices increased by 1.1% in the euro area and by 1.2% in the EU, compared to November.

In Italy the growth was 3.8%.

The largest increases in Ireland (+43.2%), Bulgaria (+6.0%) and Sweden (+4.4%).

More decisive drops in Portugal (-3.2%), Croatia (-2.6%) and Slovakia (-2.5%).


On an annual basis, the average of industrial production prices increased in 2022 by 34.4% from 2021 in the Eurozone and by 34.3% in the EU.

Peaks in Hungary (+62.7%), Latvia (+49.4%) and Romania (+41.9%).

In Italy the increase was 39.2%.
