(ANSA) - TRIESTE, FEBRUARY 03 - A black and white photo of IlCairo and the inscription "I remember in black and white... February 3, 2016".
It is the image that Giulio Regeni's mother, Paola Deffendi, publishes today in the stories linked to her social profiles.
Exactly seven years ago, along the highway that connects Cairo and Alexandria, the body of the young Friulian researcher was found, who had disappeared from the Egyptian capital a few days earlier, on 25 January.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the collective 'Giulio siamonoi', close to the Regeni family, reiterates the request for truthfulness on what happened to the young man, tortured and killed while he was in Egypt for study reasons: "INVIOLABILITY! - reads the facebook profile - the truth is an inviolable right.
After seven years we demand it for Giulio, for all of us.
No more empty words, handshakes and offensive walkways". (ANSA).
