 It is still a

confrontation on differentiated autonomy,

with the centre-right speaking of historical reform and the Democratic Party defining the text as "breaks Italy".

The clash, however, is not only between the majority and the opposition: in the aftermath of the launch of the bill, a crack also opens within the government, in particular on health care, between the minister Orazio Schillaci and the deputy prime minister and leader of the League, Matteo Salvini.

The first, an FdI area technician, issues a warning asking that the Regions be somehow "led by the Ministry of Health" which, according to him, must have "

Salvini's intervention was of a very different tone:

"If in some Regions the level of health care is poor, it is not due to autonomy, which does not exist, it is due to the incapacity of some governors, I am thinking of De Luca and Emiliano, who - he attacks - chat and for years they did nothing."

Beyond the specific theme, Schillaci's appeal with a 'centralist' flavor, in some way, well represents the effort that the Brothers of Italy are making to guarantee their southern electorate on the fact that this reform, strongly desired by the League, it will not in any way increase the gaps between North and South. In this sense, the reassuring words of Minister Francesco Lollobrigida, very close to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni: "Our party - he explains - was born from national cohesion, a deeply rooted and strong party to the south.

Could it ever approve a bill that produces that effect?

It would be a bit like suicide."

But apart from the disagreements within the center-right, the controversy between the majority and all the oppositions remains very strong, a clash made even more violent by the pre-election climate, a week before the vote in Lombardy and Lazio.

Piero Fassino denounces it explicitly: "The government - attacks the former leader of the DS - wants to impose a fragmented, disorganized regional centralism that creates inequalities and divides the country. A decoy to collect a few votes for the regional elections" .

According to the dem, Francesco Boccia, "the government has bowed to the worst League. That of Fontana and Calderoli is not the autonomy provided for by the Constitution but the worse one against equality, public school and public health; for them autonomy coincides with privatization of services".

Even the governor of Puglia, Michele Emiliano links this text to the outcome of the vote, in particular the Lombard one: "If the League goes under the result of the Brothers of Italy in Lombardy - he says - the internal structures of the Government will change even more negative for the League and FI. I fear and hope that after the regional elections in Lombardy this discourse on autonomy may die out".

Clear rejection by the Five Stars: the former minister Stefano Patuanelli defends the bill "another crap from Calderoli".

Even the leader of the Italian Left, Nicola Fratoianni attacks Salvini's party frontally, observing that "with the approval of the 'Spacca Italia', Meloni's party has succumbed to the nonsense of the League, which will finally be able to challenge the flag of the autonomy of the Regions".

Finally, severe Davide Faraone, deputy of Action-Italia Viva, according to which "Meloni likes to give toys to her ministers. She lets them play, makes them go around in circles and always makes them start again from the start".
