After drinking water on board, several sailors on a Royal Navy warship became so seriously ill that their ship had to return to port.
This was announced by British authorities.
The frigate HMS Portland returned to its base in Portsmouth on the south coast of England on Friday.
It was a precautionary measure due to a problem with one of the ship's freshwater systems.
It also said: "A small number of employees were taken to a hospital as a precaution."
Crew member error
As the Daily Telegraph reports, a crew member put the wrong chemical in a system that converts seawater into drinking water.
The seaman quickly noticed the error and reported it to his superiors.
In recent months, the frigate has been tracking Russian submarines in the North Sea and helping to monitor a Russian warship and associated tanker navigating international waters near the UK.
