(ANSA) - PALERMO, FEBRUARY 04 - A 32-year-old woman killed her 62-year-old mother-in-law Margherita Margani with a knife.
The crime took place in Pietraperzia, a town in the Enna area, in the victim's home.
The murderer has already been stopped by the carabinieri who are conducting the investigation. According to a first reconstruction, the old woman would have opened the door of the house to her daughter-in-law, with whom there would have been frequent quarrels, who would have attacked her in the kitchen with a cutting weapon, a knife or a pair of scissors.
A blow hit the victim's throat.
The Public Prosecutor of Enna Michele Benintende is traveling to the scene of the murder.
