(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, FEBRUARY 04 - "The risk of arrest" for the two MEPs Andrea Cozzolino and Marc Tarabella, deprived of political immunity for their alleged involvement in Qatargate, "is significant".
This was stated by Laurent Kennes, the lawyer of former MEP Antonio Panzeri, in prison since 9 December and now a collaborator of justice, questioned by ANSA on the latest developments in the case.
"I assume they will be summoned soon. And the risk of arrest is significant, but this is completely independent of my client's defense and does not change his situation," he stressed.
