(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 04 - Moscow's response to Kiev's attacks on Crimea or any other "deep" Russian region will be tough and convincing: "According to our nuclear doctrine, Russia can use nuclear weapons if nuclear or other of mass destruction are used against Russia or its allies, if it receives verified information about launching ballistic missiles to attack Russia or its allies, in case of conventional aggression if the existence of the state is in danger".
This was stated by the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in an interview reported by Tass.
