Rugby: Six Nations; Lamaro, 'Italy has changed, now we attack'

(ANSA) - ROME, 04 FEB - "What has changed in Italrugby in the last year? We no longer have the same mentality as before.

   Now we want to change our tendency to play defense and contain the opponent. With coach Crowley we have taken important steps forward from an offensive point of view: it's not a matter of being bold, now we simply want to attack first".

This was said by Italrugby captain Michele Lamaro on the eve of the match against France which will inaugurate the blue Six Nations tomorrow at the Olimpico.

"Everyone likes to play with the ball in hand, I don't know anyone, myself included, who prefers to defend rather than attack (laughs)", adds the Roman rugby player, making his second appearance at the tournament as captain.
