(ANSA) - MILAN, 04 FEB - The action of the ECB "will have to continue by continuing to seek the right balance between the risk of doing too little, leaving inflation high" and that "of doing too much, leading to a drop in income".
This was stated by the governor of the Bank of Italy Ignazio Visco according to whom in the decision on rates the day before yesterday "the ECB" balanced "these two risks" by increasing rates, announcing a further increase of 50 points and "signaling that the pace of any hikes will be evaluated later".
