But in an era where the phenomenon of over-branded handbags is becoming more and more present in the fashion space, and women are spending an entire salary on a bag in order to align with what is happening on Insta, we have noticed the rise in popularity of the "anti-it bag" trend.

A counter trend of choosing quiet bags, the kind that doesn't shout where it was purchased.

It is important to note that the anonymous luxury bags are not truly 100% anonymous, but their identification requires familiarity with the model or a close look to detect a subtle registration of the brand.

About two months ago, Vogue magazine reported on the issue in an article titled "The Power of Anti-It in Anonymous."

There it was explained that "an identifiable bag has cultural cachet. There's nothing wrong with that. But the anonymous luxury bag is seductive with its unpretentious attention to quality. A branded bag will draw a compliment, but the anti bag is actually the ultimate conversation starter."



The fashion news site WhoWhatWear also devoted an extensive item to the trend, where they noted that it is a quiet buzz that is happening everywhere, from the behind-the-scenes meetings of industry people, through the Tiktok or Insta networks, to the Wall Street Journal, which announced at the beginning of this year "Why delicate bags without logos will rule in 2023 ".

According to the latter, the time of "noisy and prominent IT files" is about to end this year.

In their place, a new interest in "understated elegance" will take command.

Although the importance of quality and the meticulous look leaves the bags restrained in the worlds of luxury, you can still find equivalent options at more accessible mid-range prices from labels, including apc, which offers the Ninon bag series (220-250 euros) in minimalist aesthetics and classic leather tones of brown, burgundy and black.
