"Caramel", the fantasy series that won eight awards at the Academy of Film and Television Awards for Children and Youth, returns for a second season.

"Caramel", based on the series of books by Mayra Barnea-Goldberg, unfolds the story of three brothers - Ruby, Gol and El - who were picked up from an orphanage and adopted by Mrs. Mila.
One day they discover that they are the only heirs of a rich uncle, who bequeaths them a castle, a factory for the production of luxury cars and a wonderful and mysterious cat named Carmel.
In their new life in the castle dark plots, new loves and real magic await them.
The series was created by Shirili Desha and Roi Segev, who also directs it.

"The role in 'Caramel' changed my life," shares Bar Or.
"I didn't think at all that it would be like this when we started filming. No one on the set believed that it would reach today's heights. This is a very different series, which is based on a fantasy book."
And this success created pressure for the new season?
"There's a lot of pressure. It's like the first season was an experiment to see if it works, and now the second season has to prove it. It also got more resources, they changed the doll's head and it looks completely different. I hope they get used to this change and like it. In the first season, the character Shelley has grown up, Ruby has gained confidence, and this season you can see it. He is no longer afraid to face his problems. In the first episode, we immediately jump to the beginning of the mystery of the season and the action, while in the first season it took a long time to build the characters and the relationship of Ruby and Carmel. Now the system The relationship between them is strong. This is a character that is much more fun to watch."
The series comes up while the closing of the corporation is being talked about. how do you feel about that
"I participated in a demonstration against its closing, and I hope the situation will improve. The second season has been filmed and edited, so I'm not afraid, but I want to participate in the third season and hope we win and that the corporation continues to live."
The second season will be broadcast starting this evening (Sunday) from Sunday to Wednesday in this educational channel.
