"There are those who worry about us on her behalf": Eli Butner is the ultimate Israeli artist Israel today

With special guests, electrifying arrangements, a loyal audience and a small moment of singing in public from the songs of the good old Land of Israel - "Eili Butner and the children of the country" conquered Menorah Hall • Review

A decade after they released their first album "Tam and We Will Not Pay", which reached gold album status, the members of the group "Eli Butner and the Foreign Children" took the stage last night (Saturday) for the first time at Menorah Hall.

The show opened with a unique version of the theme song from the same album released in January 2013, "Tam and We Will Not Pay".

The verses of the song "Tifot" were sung by Butner himself.

In the recorded performance he sounds amazing and on stage no less.

Boettner must sing more.

I understand the mechanism he created in the current lineup and in his "independent" career.

It is definitely a well-oiled system that works well, with Butner winning over everything.

But nevertheless, the audience is so thirsty to hear him, not only in exciting stories and second voices.

With guest Ran Denker.

It's good that we parted ways,

Butner is a man of words, of language, of songs and of stories.

Each story was accompanied by keyboards and is told with grace, emotion and humor.

There was magic in the things he shared, and in my eyes these were the moments through which he "bought" the audience - this is where the connection, the trust, was created.

Butner is "one of our own".

For example, in one of the stories, when the audience sat down at once, Butner laughed and said: "How cute you are, you really took a moment of rest."

Later he picked up a classical guitar and told about his mother who was the lead singer in Kibbutz Ein Carmel's band.

Together with Ohad Shargai, the two sang songs from the old Land of Israel - which for a few moments turned into an exciting public singing evening.

Of course, for most of the evening, the atmosphere was funk-rock with a quartet of singers who lifted the stage into the air.

The performance of "Days of Summer" was electrifying, as was the performance of "Let's Leave" sung by the guest Ran Denkar.

The duo, who released their first album together, performed two more songs together, and to be honest, it's good that they parted ways.

The connection is special and everything, but the gap that has formed between them over the years is noticeable.

Evri Lider also came to visit and gave his rock angle when he sang "The Blue Cup" and "I got to love", which lifted the long and crowded evening, perhaps too much.

Ivri Lider also came to stay,

One of the outstanding advantages of Eli Butner is his excellent choruses, which the band can perform over and over and over again on stage.

With a little changes in arrangements from chorus to chorus it never gets boring.

After this performance there is no doubt - Butner has it all, and his lineup that has been running for more than a decade is the result of the well-known recipe: good art and hard work.
