"The woman's place in the home": Jordan Harel in a sharp attack Israel today

2023-02-05T08:43:22.369Z

The presenter shared a post from filming for her show, and received harsh reactions from the followers.

Jordan Harel's weekend ended on a slightly jarring note, when a surfer decided to criticize her motherhood and the fact that she often flies abroad as part of her work.

• Yordan Harel regrets: "I'm too sensitive"

• "Otherwise possible": Omri Shalom on the new relationship with Jordan Harel

"Next time take someone single. It's sad that Jordan leaves the children a lot," the surfer wrote in response to the photos that Harel shared last night (Saturday) with her 409,000 followers on Instagram, photos taken as part of the "Best in the World" travel program hosted by Harel.

"In the end they will still have abandonment anxiety because of you," stated the surfer and added at the end: "I'm sure there are many girls who will jump."

Harel chose not to shy away from the criticism, and replied to the follower.

"It's even sadder that you interfere with my livelihood and the model that is important to me to pass on to my children - dreams and ambitions can be fulfilled even when you are a mother," she wrote firmly.

"My children are happy and surrounded by love from me and the whole family, so remove worry from your heart," she concluded.

In the text that accompanied the photos in the post, Harel added another reference to the criticism and wrote: "Hey. We started shooting a new season of 'The Best in the World' and we are having the most fun and the proudest in the world, so just a little reminder," she wrote referring to the criticism of her parenting, "Those who have less fun, Feel free to look for me in Isekiu and write me his opinions there," she wrote sarcastically, "because in 2023 they have no place. Yours, Mother Jordan," she signed the post.

In her story she added: "I debated whether to respond, but it has no place anywhere and certainly not with me. By the way, I'm sure a man would not have received this response," she wrote.

Not surprisingly, the post quickly gained hundreds of comments and likes from surfers who supported her, with quite a few of Harel's friends in the industry supporting her.

"Let them go shake their tusks," Maya Wertheimer wrote.

"Unequivocally. Proud of you for your path, my love. That's how it should be," Daniel Greenberg added.

"A stamp in a pony," wrote Noa Rosin.

"Enough, no powers," added Anna Aronov with a discouraged emoji.

"A huge model and inspiration in everything," concluded Shonit Hamed.

Harel also received support from her ex-husband and the father of their twins, Omri Shalom, who lavished love on his ex-husband and the mother of his children and wrote: "Yordana, there is one truth and it is known to both of us. You are the mother who loves and cares for Leni and Gefen the most," he wrote and added: "I am the only one who really knows how much your heart is torn apart by everything Sometimes you have to fly to work, and I'm the only one who knows how many calls you make in a day. Continue on the wonderful path and be sure that the children are proud of the mother you are."

Along with the support, Harel received a lot of reactions that actually supported the critical surfer.

"Only during the ISQ was it not acceptable to leave small children?", wrote another surfer who did not agree with Harel's explanation.

"In 2023, do children have other needs?" she wrote, adding that Harel should be correct in accepting criticism even if it annoys her.

"It kind of touched you and pinched you. It touched you in a sensitive spot and made you jump," she stated firmly.

"You probably also know that children who have to say goodbye to their mother so many times for so long do not exactly benefit from it, even if in your eyes it is the 'perfect model in 2023'. It seems that you do not believe yourself, otherwise you would not need a post for thousands of mothers to lift Go for that choice. 'A good mother is a mother who is good for her,' isn't it? It's a toxic and empty sentence. Good luck and live a life," she concluded.

Harel did not remain indifferent to this reaction either and wrote: "You will be surprised, today I am at peace with myself more than ever, and that is precisely why I have the courage to make this comment. The reference to Isiquio is to show that it is an old-fashioned way of thinking that a woman's place is in the home, and a mother cannot fulfill herself and support herself Neither does she. I don't remember a man (famous or not) receiving criticism about his fathering skills when he provides for his children and arrives after the anesthesia time, or flies for a few days to meetings abroad. This is the real hypocrisy and therefore posts like mine are still required, unfortunately," she concluded.
