Enterprise of the blue quartet made up of Dietmar Noeckler, Francesco De Fabiani, Simone Daprà and Federico Pellegrino, capable of winning the men's relay of the Nordic Ski World Cup, in the final act of the stage in Dobbiaco.
Second place went to Sweden who preceded Norway in the sprint.
A historic success, because Italy hasn't climbed to the top step of the podium for 17 years, in which it won in Val di Fiemme, with the team made up of Giorgio Di Centa, Valerio Checchi, Pietro Piller Cottrer and Cristian Zorzi.
The podium in the format, on the other hand, had been missing since 2016 when Noeckler, De Fabiani and Pellegrino (together with Roland Clara on this occasion) finished in third place.
Great emotions for the athletes, with Pellegrino moved at the finish line.
And it was the champion from Valle d'Aosta who launched the decisive attack on the final climb, standing out in front of everyone on the descent, until he crossed the finish line alone, to the applause of the audience in the Pusterese stadium.
Now space for the World Championships in Planica - from 21 February to 5 March -, with the World Cup returning on 11-12 March with the men's and women's 50 km in Oslo.
