in the early 1990s when she was just starting her Hollywood career, was interviewed by the Page Six website and talked about his relationship with the star.
He admitted that he had not yet watched her film, but praised his ex-partner and said: "I'm happy to see Pamela win on her own terms. She doesn't follow anyone's path, she follows her own path."
The ex also said: "In Hollywood, the most beautiful people are in front of the camera and the smartest behind it. Pamela is a bit of both."
Last week, the premiere of Anderson's new film, "Pamela, a Love Story" was held in Hollywood, which tells Anderson's story from her own eyes, as she reveals intriguing details from her life and from the high-profile relationships she had.
The two started dating in 1989 for a short period.
In her biography, Anderson revealed that she had a crush on the actor, whom she met on the set of 21 Jump Street.
In the same year, Anderson's big break began when she posed for "Playboy" magazine and then starred in the iconic series with which she is still identified today, "Gulf Watch."
