Two Roma supporters were injured after a raid on the street in the capital yesterday evening at the end of the Roma-Empoli match, near the Olympic stadium.
Around 20.30 in Piazza Mancini a large group of people, dressed entirely in black, according to the testimonies of Serbian fans of the Red Star of Belgrade, attacked the yellow and red ultras of the Fedayn group, stealing their banners.
One injured suffered a cut to the head, the other a brain hematoma but at the time of the rescue, according to what we learn, he was conscious.
The attackers then fled.
The perpetrators of the raid that took place yesterday evening in the capital against some Roma supporters of the Fedayn could be part of the same group that came to Milan last Thursday for the Olimpia Milano-Red Star Belgrade basketball match.
Police investigations are underway to verify any connections between Red Star Belgrade fans and Napoli fans, also in light of the clashes a few weeks ago on the A1 between the Giallorossi ultras and Paertenopei.
The latter have been twinned for years with the supporters of the Red Star of Belgrade.
According to the first testimonies of the attacked fans, there were no Neapolitan fans present at the site of the raid last night.
The twinning between the ultras of Napoli and those of the Red Star of Belgrade dates back to November 2018, when both teams played in the same group of the Champions League.
On the occasion of the match played in the Campania capital, the Serbian ultras were guests of the Neapolitan ones in curve B. In the following years the two teams never met again but the twinning remained active.
"Last night Red Star attacked the Roma ultras and took the flags of the Fedayn group. 30-40 supporters of Red Star Belgrade attacked 50-60 Romanists. Two or three times the Romanists ran and were reassembled and surrounded, we reached the Fedayeen and took so many banners".
