With a wanted special: GW950m, the specimen of the Burgdorf herd guilty of sneaking into an estate of the family of the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in Lower Saxony last September and having mauled her beloved thirty-year-old pony Dolly .

Immediately after the incident, the German authorities had decided to put a bounty on GW950m - which has become Snowy for all environmentalists -, placing it on the list of animals to be slaughtered.

Nothing to do, however: when the authorization to shoot expired, on January 31, the hunters were still empty-handed.

Now, however, GW950m may have to flee again: a spokesman for the Hanover region confirmed that the authorities have received a request to put a new bounty on the wolf, it will take a few more days to examine it.
