Two Argentines were injured in a tragic building fire on Saturday night in Lisbon's central Mouraria neighborhood, killing two people and injuring 12 others.
The fatalities are a 14-year-old boy and a man in his 50s,
according to statements made to journalists by José Caetano, from the Lisbon Sapadores Fire Department.
Of the 14 injured,
four are children, who were taken to three hospitals
in the city.
The authorities reported that they were minor injuries, the majority due to smoke inhalation.
According to local media, all those affected were foreigners, the vast majority from countries on the Hindustan peninsula, although there are also two Argentines among the injured.
The causes of the fire have not yet been revealed.
