Reception, catering, sales, management, maintenance, shows… Parc Astérix, located in Oise 35km from Paris, launched its recruitment campaign in early January.
Objective: to hire more than 2,000 seasonal workers with a view to its reopening on April 8.
The offers are aimed both at young people looking for a first experience, and at more experienced candidates.

”.
For the park's deputy general manager, Guy Vassel, the challenge is "
to attract motivated talents who want to please
".
As seasonal workers receive on-site training, "
the park is based on a sense of commitment, excellent interpersonal skills and motivation rather than on professional qualifications
", it is specified.

Parc Astérix, which has nearly 47 attractions, shows in six different worlds and no less than three hotels, is now open longer in the year.

In 2022, at the same time, we recruited 1,000 people.
There we go from simple to double
”, exclaims Guy Vassel.
Indeed, the park had suffered a record attendance with more than 2.6 million visitors in 2022. This year, visitors will also be able to enjoy a three-hectare area with new attractions including the Toutatis carousel, a large eight with a height of 51 meters.
Shops and restaurants will emerge.
All these changes “
justify the new recruitments
”, explains Guy Vassel.
Partnerships to facilitate recruitment
In the region, the park “
supports more than 4,500 jobs, including direct and indirect jobs,
” according to the deputy general manager.
50% of seasonal workers, called "
irreducible
", return each year.
The park, which also employs 400 people on a permanent basis, has nevertheless encountered some recruitment difficulties in catering and hotels since the Covid.
The salary grid, which starts from the minimum wage and rises according to the different trades, has therefore been reassessed.

We have adapted the work rhythm for the employees
”, also specifies Guy Vassel.
Finally, the park works in partnership with the employment center and schools in the region to facilitate recruitment.

The release of the film Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Empire may also boost the number of visitors this year and explain recruitment.
“
Of course, everything that is done around the world of Asterix contributes to the park, but the impact remains difficult to evolve
” nevertheless moderates the deputy general manager.
Another recruitment campaign will in any case be carried out at the end of the year, to prepare for Halloween and Christmas.
