Actress Viola Davis received a Grammy Award on Sunday for the audio version of her memoir Finding Me.
But the good news for the 57-year-old doesn't end there: With her Grammy, she has now made it into a particularly illustrious circle known as EGOT.
This refers to people who have won an Emmy, as well as a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.
Very few people have achieved this so far: Viola Davis is the 18th person to receive this honor.
And the third African American.
In 2015, Davis received an Emmy for her starring role in the TV series How To Get Away with Murder.
In 2017 she was awarded Best Supporting Actress by the Oscar Academy – the jury thus honored her work on the film »Fences«.
Davis also has two Tonys: one for "Fences" and the other for "King Hedley II."
At the Grammy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, she was now honored for the best audio book recording.
"Oh my god," she said as she accepted her award.
“I wrote this book to honor six-year-old Viola;
to honor her, to honor her life, her joy, her trauma, her everything.”
In that Grammy category, Davis was the only female nominee.
You lost Lin-Manuel Miranda, Questlove, Mel Brooks and Jamie Foxx.
Previous EGOT winners include Whoopi Goldberg, John Legend, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Alan Menken and Jennifer Hudson.
The important Grammy music awards will be presented for the 65th time this year.
The focus is particularly on US singer Beyoncé, who, with nine nominations, has the best chance of winning one of the golden gramophones.
If she wins four awards, she could become the music star with the most trophies ever.
