Today the singer releases the theme song from his new album, "Until anger passes", which he wrote together with the musician Aviv Bakr.

Mosh Ben Ari, who has signed quite a few hits from the past decades, will release a new album next month, the result of his collaboration with the musician Aviv Bakr, who, according to Ben Ari, "proved that there is a future for music in Israel, and that made me very happy."

Today they release the theme song "Until Rage Passes", which deals with the speed and madness that characterize our lives.

"It all started when they played me materials that Aviv did, and I was really taken aback," describes Ben Ari.

"I was turned on by him. I released 'Going to Sinai' that he wrote about a year ago, and I started hearing more of his stuff. I took another song that was free, and another one, and suddenly we had a sequence. We decided to give it the space, and after years of not doing so, I formed the opinion to release an album - something that is hardly done today."

He says about the connection between them: "An intergenerational meeting is really different. It is something very fulfilling. It gives peace - suddenly you can lean back and let the spring write. What is most amazing is that towards the end of the project, it awakened in me a need that had not existed for a long time. After 30 years of doing it, it brought back to me the need to write texts again, and this is the greatest gift I received from the project - to return to myself, to the place where I started."

Mosh Ben Ari and Aviv Bacher - "Until anger passes"

"There is a serious difference between the generations and we both come from a similar place, we are both people of words and music. The texts and their intention are important to us, that there will be songs that continue to exist in the world," adds Bacher, "This meeting happened in an unplanned way, and it felt as if the road had been paved there by itself. I I think that those who listen to the album will find in it Mosh's things and my things that balance in a very beautiful way, it comes from the deepest place in the heart."

It sounds like the song is about what's happening in the streets right now.

"My meeting with the text for the first time, beyond what is happening now in Israel, connected to my general feeling that our world has become a McDonald's - not too deep, there is really no looking ahead to future generations, but there is an attitude of 'come on, let's make the most of the moment and it doesn't matter what It will happen in a minute," says Ben Ari.

According to him, "This is an international situation, which is felt everywhere, and I felt that something must happen, that we are all asking for this minute, until the anger passes. We want to stop for a moment in this storm and be with ourselves, to return to the place."

Are you worried about what is happening in the country?

"If politics keeps us busy all the time, we will miss our vocation in the world. We need to remain as faithful as possible to what gives spirit to the soul, to sanity. The music must correspond with reality, and this album also has lyrics that are kicking and shocking, but also ones that speak about the inside - because You can't only deal with the outside, says Ben Ari.

According to him, "If art corresponds only to politics and to the never-ending hysteria, we will miss the most burning thing, which is the people themselves. Precisely in such times, of terrible controversy, we should not intensify the fire, but moderate it and put it in its place, in the core , to man. Not to let this evil penetrate. This is the most burning work of the artists today in Israel."

Bachar adds: "Things change all the time, as in the song, there is not a single moment where you stand on stable ground here, and you have to adjust yourself to reality. It requires mental strength from every citizen here, and what we can and should do is write songs, something that is still alive in the world and there are He has a lot of importance."

Ben Ari and Bacher's project will come to a gala show at the Shuni Amphitheatre, on April 9.
