Telefono Azzurro

is organizing an in-depth study today and tomorrow to reflect with public and private interlocutors on the scenarios, challenges and opportunities of the digital world and how it becomes increasingly part of the lives of the little ones.

The event, awarded the recognition of the Medal of the President of the Republic in Milan and Rome

"We need a serious and profound sharing of skills, ideas, investments, which sees institutions, educational agencies (primarily schools), families, the non-profit world and the network of subjects who deal with international protection of children. It is now urgent to put in place and strengthen forms of collaboration, common projects, opportunities for discussion, promptly translating concrete tools for the protection and education of children and adolescents into reality", affirms the

president of Telefono Azzurro Ernesto Caffo.

On Monday the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, in collaboration with the Humane Technology Lab of the hub, will host a round table in Milan and the report that Telefono Azzurro has drawn up with the collaboration of Doxa Kids will be presented.

Two handbooks will also be made available for parents and for children and adolescents - available on azure.it - ​​to provide a compass that can guide them in the digital universe.

The following day, Tuesday 7 February, the initiative moves to Rome and will have a more institutional slant.

It will be the first opportunity for a public discussion between Telefono Azzurro and the new government to promote an effective dialogue on the pitfalls to which the little ones are increasingly subject.

The morning event will be hosted

in the Aula dei Gruppo in Montecitorio, and will see the participation of institutions, academia, international experts and authorities who will provide the reference framework for the implementation of legislation on the protection and safeguarding of children and teenagers in the digital environment.

The digital Agenda for childhood and adolescence promoted by Telefono Azzurro will be presented, which envisages a package of measures to guarantee young people a more aware life in the digital dimension.

In the afternoon, in the headquarters of the Italian Embassy to the Holy See, there will be discussions with the main representatives of local and international religious realities, as well as international experts on the subject of the protection of children and adolescents.
