, published by Hachette Lab, convinced 53,000 buyers for its first week of release, more than double that of the scandalous autobiography of the Duke of Sussex (21,383 copies over the same period and a total of 150,000 over a month).
Behind, the first two volumes of Pierre Lemaitre's trilogy on the Glorious Thirties follow each other in the ranking of the best-selling books, according to GfK.
First published in 2021 for free, chapter by chapter, on the online writing and reading sharing platform Wattpad,
's universe generates millions of readings in a few months.
This romance then caught the eye of the publishing group Hachette Livres, which decided to sign Sarah Riven.
