This summer is turning out to be one of the busiest summers in terms of international artists coming to concerts in Israel.
Now a new name joins him on the list: Gilbert O'Sullivan, the renowned artist and pianist, who is responsible, among other things, for the hit "Alone Again".

The musician will come to Israel for one performance as part of his international concert tour, for a show that will take place on June 15 at the Culture Hall in Tel Aviv.
At the concert, O'Sullivan will play the piano and perform, accompanied by a guitarist, from the best musical repertoire he has accumulated over the years.
The song "Alone Again" was recorded in 1972, managed to reach the top of the chorus charts all over the world, was nominated for the Grammy Award and sold about 2 million copies in the US.
O'Sullivan was born in 1946 in Ireland as Raymond Edward and grew up in England, where his musical activity began.
He started out as a drummer in a band he started in college.
In the 1960s he moved to Front, was signed to a record deal and changed his stage name.

At the age of 21, he burst into a career full of hits such as "Out of the Question", "Get down" and more.
His hits placed on the various music charts and sold millions of copies in Israel and around the world.
His songs accompanied many films and TV series, including "The Simpsons".
This is not O'Sullivan's first visit to Israel, as he appeared in Israel twice in 2009.
