The Rome prosecutor has asked for a life sentence for the Chechen Rassoul Bissoultanov, accused of voluntary homicide for the death of Niccolò Ciatti and currently on the run.
The request was made at the end of the indictment before the judges of the Court of Assizes of Rome.
"A murder committed in a few seconds: a terrible crime witnessed by many people, including the victim's friends. Killing has a broad meaning, it can happen in a car accident or at work, while Niccolò was killed, assassinated, his life was cruelly taken."
Prosecutor Erminio Amelio said it in the indictment.
Ciatti, originally from Scandicci (Fi), was punched and kicked to death on 11 August 2017 outside a nightclub in Lloret de Mar in Spain.
